Events

ICCA is an active participant in major international events that help shape the future of the worldwide chemical industry. One such event - the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), held in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 - provided the fundamental principles and the program of action for achieving sustainable development. We were a part of that historic event and of future related meetings (see below), and intend to remain fully engaged with the UN’s drive to sustainability.
