How we're structured
ICCA is governed by a Board of Directors representing member associations and a Steering Committee responsible for oversight of several working level groups. ICCA is a virtual organisation, coordinating the work of individuals from member associations and their member companies. The Board of Directors is led by a President, the private sector CEO who chairs the association currently serving as the ICCA Secretariat. The Secretariat function, which rotates among the major associations, is led by a Council Secretary, who chairs the Steering Committee, and is the head of the association currently serving as Secretariat.

Communications Working Group
Under the new ICCA structure, the Communications Work Group serves as an important focal point for the Council and its member organizations.
Its main role is to support ICCA advocacy initiatives, working closely with each of the three primary Leadership Groups – Chemical Policy & Health, Climate Change & Energy, and Responsible Care – as well as with communicators from national and regional associations, and member companies worldwide.
