Events
ICCA is an active participant in major international events that help shape the future of the worldwide chemical industry. One such event - the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), held in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 - provided the fundamental principles and the program of action for achieving sustainable development. We were a part of that historic event and of future related meetings (see below), and intend to remain fully engaged with the UN’s drive to sustainability.

The ordinary and extraordinary meetings of the conferences of the parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions (ExCOPs) will be held back-to-back during a two-week period from 28 April to 10 May 2013 in Geneva, Switzerland.
